Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief and former Chief Minister of Haryana, Om Parkash Chautala on Friday announced that if his party comes to power in the state, it will give 100 square yards land, Rs 10,000 monthly pension to the families of martyrs in Haryana and implement the Swaminathan report for farmers.
The INLD leader’s announcement came in the wake of ensuing Lok Sabha polls and State Assembly polls scheduled to be held later this year.
OP Chautala, who is currently out of Tihar jail on a furlough addressed a rally in Hansi to sound the poll bugle.
Moreover, the veteran leader also announced to implement an investment support scheme to support the livelihood of farmers to lure the farmers ahead of polls,
On the question of contentious Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue, INLD chief said that his party will ensure the construction of SYL. Projects of Mewat canal and Dadupur Nalvi irrigation project will also be implemented by the INLD if it comes to power, he said.
Meanwhile, Chautala is hopeful that INLD will win 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.
