PM Narendra Modi to kickstart NDA’s election campaign from Chennai on March 6

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kickstart the NDA’s election campaign from Chennai in Tamil Nadu ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

Tamil Nadu BJP President Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday confirmed the visit of the prime minister.

“The mega rally on March 6 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be a turning point in Tamil Nadu politics. Alliance leaders of NDA will share the stage with our Prime Minister,” Tamil Nadu BJP President Tamilisai Soundararan said in a statement on Wednesday.

PM Modi’s mega rally is expected to take place on the Old Mahabalipuram Road and leaders from major political parties in alliance with the NDA are expected to participate.

As per sources, Prime Minister will visit Ekambareswarar temple in Kanchipuram and call on Vijendra Saraswati, the senior Pontiff of the Kanchi Mutt ahead of his rally in Chennai.

The mega rally will be a show of strength of the NDA alliance in Tamil Nadu, said a party source.

The PMK and AIADMK are on board the alliance and according to the sources, GK Vasan’s TMC and K Krishnasamy’s Puthiya Tamizhagam (PT) will also be part of this alliance ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
