The Punjab Democratic Alliance (PDA) has decided to field candidates on 9 out of 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
Talking to reports in Jalandhar on Tuesday, the PDA member and Punjab Ekta Party chief Sukhpal Singh Khaira said that the PDA has decided in the recently held meeting that BSP will field its candidates from Anandpur Sahib, Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar Lok Sabha seats while his party will contest from Bathinda and Faridkot seats.
Lok Insaaf Party will contest from three seats- Ludhiana, Amritsar and Fatehgarh Sahib while Patiala seat has given to suspended AAP MP Dharamvira Gandhi’s Punjab Manch.
Khaira further said the remaining four seats to be contested by the alliance would be decided soon.
Khaira said the alliance has been forged to free the state from corrupt Congress and SAD-BJP which have looted the state for many decades.
