Shatrughan Sinha says he will fight Lok Sabha election only from Patna

The actor-turned-politician and Senior BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on Sunday said that whatever

the situation may be, he will not change his constituency in the coming Lok Sabha election. Sinha is the current sitting MP of Patna.
In his statement, Sinha said,
“Situation kuch bhi ho, location wahi hogi  (Whatever the situation, the location would be same).”
He has been at loggerheads with the BJP’s Modi Government over many issues since the 2015 Bihar election.
On many occasions, the actor-turned-politician has taken a stance against his own party on the issues of demonetisation, GST etc.
Recently, Sinha held a meeting with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, giving rise to speculation his wife Poonam Sinha may enter active politics and contest Lok Sabha election from the Lucknow seat on SP ticket
“Poonam Sinha has been busy with social work for long. She is liked by all. People want her to contest but whether this will happen or not only time will tell,” Shatrughan Sinha said.
