MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy in the constituency of Guntur West, arranged a meeting with party division leaders as he is all set to quit Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
According to the sources, Venugopala became emotional while talking about how the party has insulted him. He stated that, “I can not stay at a place where there is no respect for me.” Also, he confirmed that, till now he has waited for a phone call from Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. As there’s no response from the party high command, Reddy has decided to quit the party.
Modugula Venugopala Reddy took the group photograph with the party division presidents for the last time before he left for Hyderabad.
Reports tells that, Modugula will be meeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSR Congress party chief, at Hyderabad and will join the Congress party.
In the upcoming 2019 polls, Modugula will be contesting as YSRCP MP candidate from Guntur or Narasaraopet.
