Welfare Party to contest 18 Lok Sabha seats across India in the upcoming elections

The West Bengal-centric Welfare Party has announced to contest the 18 Lok Sabha seats across the country in the upcoming elections. While the party will field six candidates in West Bengal.

On Friday, President of the Welfare party, Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas told the reporters, apart from six West Bengal seats, there will be seven candidates from Kerala, three in Maharashtra, one in Telangana and one in Gujarat for a Lok Sabha seat.

The National President of the party Ilyas will contest from Jangipur seat in West Bengal.

Party’s West Bengal president Mansa Sen said we are optimistic about our win in the forthcoming elections because people are extremely upset with the work of the Central and State Governments.
